Broome County area is not really the place to be at the present. Due to corrupt government, absurd wasteful spending and dipping into every possible money resource has drained Broome County dry. The current Mayor of Binghamton, Richard Bucci has literally made this a poverty stricken area.
Mayor Bucci's policies, along with Al Libous and Governor Pataki have made this area a haven for drugs, prostitution, inordinate amount of Level 3 sexual offenders and welfare fraud.
The West Side Homeowners Association is constantly trying to flood the press, radio and tv with false promises of a great future here in Broome County when exactly the opposite is true. They are merely trying to talk the huge investment when they bought to create a false value so they can get out of Dodge. Taxes go up, services go down, food is controlled by a few owners, gas prices are the first to go up and last to come down due to ownership by a few wealthy families. The value of homes here is at an all time low. All industry here is cutting back, hospitals are laying off and doubling work loads. Jobs are day to day fear and apprehension, what there are left of them.
There is only one solution here, to get rid of the graft, stealing, looting, and corruption of government in the Broome County area and start from the beginning.
Do not come here, you will be very sorry you did. I have no investment in this warning but I do want the area back to the way it was when I grew up here. Until that time, forget about this area for now.

He is still speaking out at council meetings, Broome County Legislature Meetings, School Board Meetings, Town and Village meetings, has his own cable TV show, speaks out on radio and has a truth laden News bulletin board exposing all that is going on in Broome County.

People concerned with posting truth about Broome County, city and NY State leaders are getting heavy. Pataki, Kraham, Libous and Bucci are being constantly exposed in the Binghamton are for "bad politics." There is hardly a day goes by when new exposed black ops are being uncovered, primarily by John Solak, Steve Garlock, Douglas Walter Drazen (currently running for Congress) and Jack Sheheen, among many others. These politicians are on the run, the lies are so out of control for making Binghamton a level 3 sexual offender haven, (almost at the 300 mark for a community of 40,000 people), complete with welcoming notes from Mayor Bucci, threats to rape the regular speakers at Binghamton City Council by "there are more of us than you think here," level 3 sex offender, carried live on Time-Warner cable access, a drug and prostitute free zone, loans for "big" business that are never paid back, (Boscov's), buying of city property by government groups, cigarette money disappearance, highest property taxes in the country, private business buying tax free property, (churches), BLDC grants, a plan to keep Binghamton the poorest town in America, and on and on and on and on.
7-19-2004 - John Solak is running as an Independent for the Broome County Legislature. He is the candidate for the people.
He has proved this time and time again by providing the people of Broome County area with information that was formerly hidden.
He has a cable access show called John From Binghamton. He does this live, no cuts or breaks or editing sometimes for 2 and a half hours.
He has been a regular speaker at Binghamton City Council meetings for close to a decade.
He has brought to the people of Broome County knowledge of the great number of sexual predators in the area, class 3 felons, likely to commit the same crimes against children again.
He is a regular speaker on the Talk With Tony radio talk show where he exposes the leaders of our state, county and cities with unmentionables.
He has gone after the gang problems in the area.
He has gone after the massive drug importation problems in the area.
He has gone after many non-profit organizations, where the profit was going to the few employed by them.
He has gone after the BLDC program.
He has gone after Boscovs, vacuuming this area dry.
